Canopy Piano Hinge PIn Removal

I am looking for any tips or tricks with removing the piano hinge pin that holds the canopy to the fuselage.
I have been pulling and twisting but doesn’t seem to want to budge. I looked to see if there was a pin drilled somewhere but could not find it. I’d prefer not having to drill out the entire piano hinge. what works to pull those out? WD-40?
Thanks,
Patrick

Try LPS spray lubricant, that might help. Perhaps try tapping a pin in from the opposite side to get the old one moving.

Are you pulling on it with pliers? That makes it easier. Also try with someone holding the canopy half closed, there may be binding all the way open. That’s a general piano hinge thing, I would expect it comes out easily.

Using pliers and tied tapping from the other side. Not moving. Will try with a helper and the canopy partially closed.

Have someone work the canopy open and closed a little while pulling.

Probably a dumb question, but the pin isn’t bent over on both sides I hope.
